Continuing my university theme this evening...
Ended up here after an access fail
at Record Ridgway / Marples over the road. Not wanting to waste the hour or so I had until work, I decided to have a mooch.
Not the most exciting explore I've had but it was somewhere different and hadn't been documented before so I thought I'd post a quick report up.
Bit trashed but plenty of bits and pieces of equipment on the ground floor to have a nose at; worth half an hour of your time if you're in the area, but don't go out of your way.
The site encompasses the uni's Central Stores (part of which is still live and has no access) and the grandly titled 'North Eastern Universities Purchasing Group'.
No history as such other than it simply looks like the NEUPG has moved to Leeds at some point and vacated the building along with whatever other occupants it had (apart from the hobos, who have been nesting here recently).
