A small explore of an old building on Upper Stanhope Street to see if it had anything inside. No history on this although it features in an early Liverpool photograph and a local told me it may have been a nightclub in the ‘80s. Well there was plenty inside, just nothing of much interest except for a couple of fire-surrounds. Access was round the back through a chop-shop, and the old building seems to have been used as a dumping ground for tyres and car parts. The basement was full to the brim with tyres which also carpeted the ground and some of the first floor, interspersed with bits of car. Pictures go from the ground floor up.
