Did a visit to Upton ROC on Sunday 4th November.
This was last visited by Team Polski just over a month ago and appears in very good condition – all things considered.
The bunker is perfectly dry and the sump pump handle turns properly!
It was nice to see the Glitto and kettle was still there plus there were a few bars of the Royal E II R soap in the cupboard.
Some nice big spiders were lurking around the hatch area.
Sadly, it looks very likely that the bunker will be destroyed / filled in soon, as there are large building developments and roads being built in this area and this appears to be in the middle of it all!
I recently brought a Fenix P3D Rebel and it did a great job down there.
