I've had a quick search and unfortunately there's not much information on this little fort on the internet.
Upon reaching the fort it's a bit of a weird sight to see houses here?! Some of the buildings have been converted in to holiday homes, and one of the main buildings has been converted in to a permanent live-in residence.
The lady in the said building was really helpful and let us wander around her garden....
on with the pics...
1. Main gun emplacements
2. Steps down to the magazine
3. Magazine
4. Mechanism to pop the shells upstairs
5. Room 1
6. Room 2
7. 10pts if you know what this said?
8. This little dude was all on his own in there...
9. Joining building
10. Inside above building - not sure what the rack was for?
11. Doorway to the magazine
12. The converted building, now a permanent residence
