In addition to the above, more annotations, and no 'cattle bridge' to be seen...

I really do think that brick arch is the original Mill Brow bridge, replaced with not very safe looking low bridge in the photo.

Hmm, I think your pic shows 2 and 3 looking roughly the same distance from the bank, whereas the maps shows 2 jutting right out.

Looking at it yeah I think I've got 2 wrong on the illustration. Hmm. It would be a contender but I think it's too far upstream...

1 on your illustration is where 2 is on that map. 1 on that map is Red Bank.

I see what you're saying but I'm not sure. The first bridge in the illustration is Scotland Bridge at the foot of Red Bank. The L-shaped road confirms it, as does the dwelling on the corner of the river. I'm not certain but it appears to me as though the river curves the wrong way in the map for what you say to be true. I think that 90 degree turn in the river is where the entrance to the culvert is today.

Totally! I take it you've been for a nosey?
Only as a permission visit which I know isn't exactly cool - but I did get to stand on the bridge and see the old Pacer front before they shifted it.

Speaking of which, apparently 059's frontage has recently been grafted onto a unit in service. Would be great to know which one...

The 90 degree turn is just before the weir/entrance (I fell down it once), where you have 1 positioned is deffo Red Bank.

I see, hmm... So are you saying that 1 would be the bridge to the left on there, adjacent to Ashley Lane?

Did they open the side doors on the bridge so you could see the river?
Yep, my very very very poor quality snaps:

Dunno whether they're worthy of a report, but this was back in 09, so...

Just whack it up anyway mate! I'd be interested to see your snaps and I'm sure others would too.

Nice one, but some old pics now them pre-development, the pacer front has long been kicked out, along with the BTP :D
