We saw this building on the way to a popular exploration on Belgium's coast, so we decided to return after that and take a look. This old house was built in 1899 and it's one of the very few that are still there after all the changes made for tourism purposes. It was declared & protected as monument in 1994.
There's not much left inside and the top floors are covered in pigeon shit; some parts are decayed too, but there are a few nice rooms, and the overall atmosphere of the building is great. it seems that it served as a hotel before it was abandoned. the rooms in the front are the best, with very nice views to the sea and the beach.
