OK, so I drive past this most mornings, whilst going to get my friend for work. Recently, I've noticed A LOT of fencing and whatnot around it that wasn't there before and today (19-2-2013) I saw a few chaps in HVJ's and vans knocking about outside. I'm unsure what they're doing but I anticipate it is bad news for Wades, most likely anyway knowing Stoke.

Just felt like letting any locals (or none locals) know, if you wanna visit here I suggest you do it sharpish. There's a tonne of people on here who know the location, and to be honest it's not hard to find anyway.

Might go a little earlier one morning and ask 'em what's happening. Could just be a check up on gas lines or something.

Also, hello again people :hello

I'd be amazed if they spend any money on demolishing it, and I can't see that houses would be built in demand in that lovely desirable area to fund it.

I think a mysterious fire in the middle of the night would be the order of the day, as usual...

I dunno, it may be trashed but it's definitely worthy of a look. There's lots of stuff to see if you look hard enough.
so people keep saying...... we looked....and we found, one complete animal not smashed.....and some ashtrays in a stinky soaking wet room.... just don't think it was my bag at all, much prefered weatherbys....which is also trashed, but has somenice bricky, woody features......

Depends what your into I suppose. If you want it all on a plate it's no good, but if don't mind having a rummage around and working stuff out, it's a good explore.

Definitely, it would be good to see the building or the land put to use.
However, I find that highly unlikely, no doubt it will become another one of Stoke's ever increasing half-demolished or cleared empty sites.

I predict it'll be slightly more charred this time next year. :(

OK so I took a closer (more attentive) look. It appears it's normal gas vans digging up the pavement. Wade's doesn't look as though it's having anything done to it. And yup, it is smashed up yeah - but it's still worth a nose. Did anyone venture down stairs...?

I mean to go back but unsure if it's getting more and more smashed up. Might just leave the numpties to wreck it and gently weep :(
