Cant find much history on this place.

Waltham Abbey police station in the Epping Forest District of Essex and the metropolitan area of London closed its front counter to the public in November 2011 and the station itself later closed in September 2016.
The station is one of several to be sold as the estate is reduced from 80 to approximately 30 buildings.

currently up for sale some info borrowed from estates agents page
Former police station comprising a two storey detached building to the front of the site facing Sun Street, together with a one/two storey building within the rear car park attached to the adjacent library. The property has extensive parking to the rear
Main Building Ground Floor - entrance hall; reception counter; offices, detention cell; storerooms and WC facilities.
First Floor – offices; kitchen; WC and shower-room

Was tipped off about this place from a friend who lives local.
While out on a freezing cold day exploring some off the pillboxes along the London outer ring a couple of us decided to check it out as we were in the area.
Access was easy but a very tight fit was untouched inside apart from most of the ground floor windows are smashed. All the power and heating was still on.

Was only inside for about 30 mins is only a small building mostly stripped out only has one holding cell with a really thick wooden door.

Found paper work from Essex police and Metropolitan police inside so guess both shared this station.
