Is it ALL going, including the bit that has remained live towards the Ipswich end?

Good question i was wondering that also.
Passed on the train today... the derilect buildings are still there on the 'land' side and are being cleared out. There were three businesses there, from memory, and not easy to see if they have all been vacated from the train. Some "buildings" remain on the estuary side, but of course these will soon be demolished either by machine or their own free will.

Brantham August 2017

Sorry to be the barer of bad news but its all gone, every building the other side of train line is now in a big pile of rubble :( The only building still standing is the pump house down the very end. The bridge under the railway line has also been blocked off with a gate and wheel wash, presumably due to the hazardous chemicals used over there. Unfortunately this also stop the less enthusiastic of us that didn't bring our wellies. Only two alternative to get north of train line, go over it which is a poor idea as there are CCTV cameras and its incredibly stupid, the second being the way i got in which wasn't the nicest but it worked. Regardless there's not much to see that side any more any way. Right, rambled enough, pictures below. Enjoy, Exxperious
