Report - Water Park in Northern Mexico (State of Chihuahua) August 2022

The abandoned water park.

I came across this gem whilst heading north to cross into the US.

Most roofs have collapsed in the little buildings and I thought this place had been abandoned for at least 10 - 15 years.

A little research, however, has shown that it was open until the summer of 2019.

Wow, that’s the most depressing looking water park I’ve eve seen and It’s no wonder it closed. Nicely captured though.

Hahaha, I dunno why but that comment just made my day

I honestly found the whole area a bit depressing and in one of my videos I compared it with East Berlin. In all seriousness though, a rural area in Mexico obviously isn't quite up to European/ American standards.
