Visited with the owners permission, the owners (a vets pracitce)bought the buildings some years ago which has meant the HQ is in great condition, the WW2 buildings are used as the vets. This is the first HQ ive been to and i wasnt expecting it to be as big as it is.
The semi sunken bunker was opened in 1961 but Group 5 was disbanded in 1968. The buildings were retained as a training centre until 1973 and were sold in 1974.
