Intro: Wendreda house was a former 'Downton Abbey' Style mansion found in March Cambridgeshire and was the home to one of Cambridgeshire's largest cannabis raids, this raid was conducted in January of 2015 and has been left almost exactly the same ever since.

Excerpt from telegraph article.

"Police who were called to a 'Downton Abbey' style mansion in the Cambridgeshire countryside discovered a slick drugs operation with more than 1,000 cannabis plants growing amid splendid surroundings.
Officers turned up at the £1 million Wendreda House in the village of March, Cambs after locals complained that a pungent smell was emanating from the nine bedroom detached property.
Downstairs was furnished like any grand house with antique furniture and comfortable sofas giving the appearance of a well-appointed family home.
In the kitchen surfaces were clean and tidy and food and drink had been left out on the side as if someone was expected home at any time.
But upstairs the entire property had been transformed into a sophisticated drugs greenhouse, with high powered lights, irrigation pipes and air filtration systems.
The technology was feeding more than 1,000 high strength cannabis plants which would be worth up to £1 million on the streets.
Police said they were stunned by the discovery because they had not been expecting to find a sophisticated drugs operation in such a grand setting."
