John Hill, the “Cosy Tea Rooms” building was built in 1924 for a Mr. A W Thomson. H Baxter, husband & wife team, rented and ran it as grocery, provisions and tea rooms in the 50s. The freeholder then change it to showroom and storeroom for “Westfield Builders’ Supplies Ltd”. Westfield ceased trading around 1995.possible when this was abandoned. enjoy the photos.
