Well it had to be done really.

...get up there. Note it's not right at the very top, maybe 4 metres down; that's because the ladder isn't actually secure at the very top, it's not bolted onto the wall on one side and it kind of moves a bit Also, I was surprised to find the last few metres were constructed out of brick.

In the news recently saying they are going to demolish this 122m high chimney. They actually said that demolishing it "will result in reduced trespass"

The chimney is be demolished by controlled explosion on Sunday September 18th at 0645am (disclaimer: this could change as it has already been delayed a few times). Will update in here if the date/time changes again.

I for one, will be parked up at Bratton Camp/White Horse to watch this - hope to see you there!
