I won't bother with the history as you've all seen it before, but a couple of weeks ago I went to what's left of Pyestock.- the Anechoic Chamber
With the diggers waiting outside I would imagine this last building standing is now nearly gone too.
Wasn't actually optimistic on getting in and had limited time/light, so far from the best photos of the place, but some of the last.

Hate to disappoint you but there's also another bit left, the former water treatment plant located on the south eastern corner of the site - unless that's quietly been flattened by now too.

Aha, thought that would have been gone now. The last clings to life. What a miserable place it is all being turned into.

Urgh, and I just looked and they named the main road winding through the horrid little houses 'Pyestock Way', like its being a big respectful act to its original function.

Most of the water treatment area has been cleared, other than the large silos. A new footpath now runs along the fence line.
