Explored with Rookinella, thanks to smalls for the previous report.

Witanhurst is the name of an historical Georgian-style mansion located on a 5 acre (20,000 m²) site estate in the village of Highgate, North London. It is the second-largest house in London in private ownership, the largest being Buckingham Palace.
It has 65 rooms spread across three floors, including 25 bedrooms. One of the largest is the Ballroom|Grand Ballroom]], measuring 70 feet (21 m) long with a height of 20 feet (6.1 m). It has oak flooring and the timber wall panels are in walnut, with carved cornices embellished with gold leaf.
On 16 July 2008 it was reported that Yelena Baturina, the wife of the Mayor of Moscow (Russia) and a billionaire in her own right, purchased the property for an estimated £50m (approximately $100MM USD.) Plans for its potential renovation have not been announced. The renovations are now under way with an estimated cost of 40 million.

What an amazing place. Not as big as I thought it would be to be honest, but a lot better and a real adrenaline-pumping explore. We honestly thought we would be busted at any moment. I mean, why would you leave such a fabulous building unattended when you are so rich?

Getting past the cameras and into the building was only a slight annoyance, the real annoyance was that now we were in it was getting dark.

Nothing much, just a corridor...

The whole building is under a huge cover, so the roof was a great place to be...

The ground floor was the real eye-opener though. Crikey, it was posh stripped out with nothing in it...
