This was my first ever exploration and it was definitely a pretty decent start, the Co-Op is a fairly large building where you just don't know what to expect, sadly the condition of the place has deteriorated compared to some reports done before 2010.

*Borrowed history from Za Gringo*
I recommend checking his report out to see a comparison between the condition of the building in 2010 ^^

The Art Deco Co-Op on Powis Street, Woolwich is a well-loved local landmark, sadly earmarked for demolition by Greenwich Council, despite recommendations by English Heritage that it is a vital part of the townscape and worth preserving.

The building does not meet criteria for listing, but it is a fine example of art deco and is a vital part of the west end of Powis Street, which includes other buildings of the period that are occupied and thus safe. The Co-Op is a vital part of Woolwich's "Art Deco Quarter" and the shell, at least, should be preserved and recycled in the planned Woolwich Triangle development rather than demolished.
