I do like a nice mill, and this is a little cracker even if it's a tad empty. Part of me had hoped to be the first one to get a post from here up as it had been on the cards for a while, however @dweeb managed to beat me to it! If I'm honest I'm surprised it hasn't been covered more often as it's a great building and largely undamaged apart from the broken windows.

As dweeb said there isn't a huge amount out there about this place, it was built in 1885 for yarn spinners Wright & Jobson and at some point after it closed the ground floor area was taken over by a car garage specialising in Alfas, there is box after box of ruined old Alfa parts littering part of the ground floor space.

Thanks for looking :)

Nice one mate. Wish I'd arrived here earlier when I stopped in June, wasn't worth getting the camera out as it was just getting dark. Nice to see it again in natural light instead of torch light! Real shame about the church though, I was gutted for you when you messaged me!

Cheers - I was more gutted about landing in the dog poo!
