Very nice mate!
I live localish to Inskip and stayed there for a long weekend during the first Gulf War (I was in the Army cadets at the time), it was guarded by The Royal Marines back then

I know this bunker, me and my mates used to play war on it when I was a kid back in the early '70s.
Just downstream from Carvers Bridge, where we used to swim in the brook and catch catfish. Great times :D

600ft high, great view from the top according to my dad :)

It's a great shame they've demolished all the hangers and many of the brick built buildings too. There used to be an aircraft gun/cannon synchronisation building/butts just about here -- http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=53.828592&lon=-2.843163&z=19.3&r=0&src=msa that was subsequently used as a feed storage building by one of the farms on the base post-war. Looking at the overhead the building may actually be still standing just above the concrete hardstanding. One of the hangars was used as a sports hall for a great number of years, I used to enjoy playing badminton there in my childhood.
This area here -- http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=53.816257&lon=-2.844463&z=19.1&r=0&src=msa was an accommodation site, most of the military related buildings have gone but you can still see the concrete bases of where they stood.
