I'd heard about this site again from Phil d and friends. Upon finishing work early i thought I'd venture across the road one afternoon all the way to the otherside of the road. I never imagined such a place existed only 2 mins away from where i work everyday. I walked round the front and could see no sign of entry so continued until i found one! i know a load of people have been here but, as I was on my own it only added to the feeling of discovery, within 10 minutes i was on the set of ROBOCOP.
Two huge buildings stood in my wake, clearly deralict and dying to be explored.

I found a hole and crawled through.

The giant rooms were filled with huge holes everywhere, prusumably for the massive vats, some of which were still here

Although this is a juggernaut of a building it still seemed fragile in places.

i even managed to find a date which was suprisingly older than i thought.

the place was filled with strange and alien objects, god only knows what they were used for, a safety overflow system perhaps?

The rust in here was immense

the sun was beginning to set, which made for fantastic lighting, but within 10 minutes of trying to find the best shot that represented that - it was pitch black in there.

trying to find your way back out in the dark, with holes in the floor everywhere marking 15ft drops and cable beneath your feet was a little precarious to say the least. When i finally got outside, I contemplated going into the second building which has several floors but thought it would be too dangerous on my own. Moral of the story - Tell someone where you are going!
