Hi all, first post. Having had some fun in Manchester with some folk also on here recently I thought I'd pop up some of the stuff I've been getting up to of late.

This is from a couple of nights ago, I don't have an slr or anything but I think some of the photos came out nicely.

You can see all of them here:
Nice folks for free anon hosting and a lovely image viewer.

High Point/Yorkshire Building Society is a nine storey high concrete clad beast that is probably the tallest spot in the centre of Bradford, apart from possibly the University. It's on the junction of Westgate & John st.

Most of the inside of floors 1-7 have been stripped down to the bare skeleton of the building with all the carpetting and floor tiles stacked up in neat piles with a load of office furniture and various bits that got left.
Generally the pictures are of the ground floor/basement/underground car park/plant rooms/the caretakers apartment on the 8th floor and the rooftop areas... purely because there was nothing interesting in between.

Emblem press for 'Yorkshire Permanent Building Society', as the company was known from in 1982 after a merger of the Huddersfield, Bradford & West Yorkshire Building Societies.

The Bradford Permanent Building Society existed from 1885 to 1975 when it merged with Huddersfield Permanent.

    Board meeting agendas and minutes

    Deeds Safe 3

Found a lift with the light left on and a kitchen sink in it

    Full moon

    Rear view from the roof

    Engineers workshop in the basement

    A fine vintage

this guy took a few good daytime pictures of the exterior, for reference.

It was nicely challenging getting in and the first half hour or so sneaking around, thinking there might be security in the building because of lights left on, was very funny.

Enjoy. And also, always up for local missions so just give us a pm if you fancy doing something.
