On 26/2/11 KooK, Colin and I have visited this abandoned brewery.
After being greeted at the station by a very smiley Satsuma & Bink early doors, we walked over to George Barnsley’s Cornish works and had a wander there, which consumed most of the morning.
2 pints and a roast pork sandwich later we checked out the Cannon brewery, which, it seemed was one of the most favourable explores of the day by those attending the pub meet up thingy later on. Ran into Muttley, good to meet you mate (and of course, everyone else later on at JD Wetherspoons, where I drank too much beer)
Speaking of beer, here’s a history page of the brewery from Wikipedia, no point in pasting it in as it exists elsewhere in other reports I’m sure.
