I thought this place had long since been demolished! lovely set of images
I thought the same when driving past around a year ago and seeing loads of new houses and a new roundabout, but thankfully quite a bit still remains! Cheers

Really photogenic building, you’re really doing it justice with those shots. Great work mate will be sad to see this one go :(
Cheers mate, even now it is still a photogenic place

Nothing wrong with them phone pictures! In a way, not having the scope to really edit them gives them a bit more of an honest feel. Besides I'd be happy if the majority of my camera shots turned out as well as them ngl 🤣
Cheers, I suppose when I was sorting them out in Lightroom they looked quite blurry as they were blown up, but as they are sized down a bit on the forum they aren't so bad!

Really nice pics mate. Glad to see many of the buildings still standing. It was such an under rated explore. And everyone rushed to the pool only. The officers mess and signals school were my favourite buildings on site, but everything was nice on here and nothing to dislike. We first went in 2015 and got caught with on half an hour I think and everything was sealed tight.
Cheers mate, yeah I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was a bit underrated, I agree the pool was great but surprised many didn't bother with the other bits. The tiles in the Signal School are lovely. Security have always been a bit hit and miss here but I've always been fairly lucky

Cheers, it is quite a vast site. Some of it has been demolished namely the canteen and a few other bits and pieces. The mast has been restored and looks a lot cleaner now it's been painted etc. The swimming pool I believe is staying but I'm not sure what they are doing with it, I'll have to have a look online. The battery is cool and I've done it before but don't have any decent photos of it unfortunately, it sits on the same site. I would imagine that will be staying too and once all the houses have been built it may be restored as it is in reasonable condition inside.

Not sure what is happening with the remaining accommodation, it may be renovated into apartments but the rooms inside are small and there would be so much work to do, and they might have issues with asbestos too so they may just demolish them eventually.
