Report - Llanberis Copper Mine, July 2020

Great report. I wish I went to the copper mine, instead I went up the Gallt-Y-Lan slate mine next door. Feeling a bit adventurous as there was nothing online about it was literally a mountain of loose slate leading to a pit although there is supposedly a level at the top.

That saves me a walk

Nice one, reminds me of going up there as a snapper with my Owd Man, one day I'll come and have another play up there not been since the DPBB09!

I've done a bounce trip there with a caving club it's bolted but I'd only recommend it if your experienced in srt and rigging as the full route to the bottom is super sketch and full of false floors

If you just going to the top with no ropes or safety gear when you go in there's a tunnel on the left once the rigging bolts start on the left wall don't go any further as after that it's just false floors and I know someone who has fallen through but they were thankfully on a traverse line so they were fine
