We arrived and parked rather close to the site, the road seemed well developed with on-street parking. Only thing to highlight would be the council building across from the site, a guy did head straight out and asked us if we planned to enter the site, to which of course we convincingly said no. Other than that we headed to the outer edges of the hospital grounds and made our way in.

Brief History:[/B] Lluesty hospital, built as a workhouse in the late 1830s, has not been used since the new Holywell Community Hospital opened in 2008. The original workhouse complex and adjoining chapel were Grade II listed 20 years ago. The early Victorian building was designed by St Asaph architect John Welch and used as a workhouse for the poor of 14 parishes.
