tried some but no luck aha
Try some more! Not trying to be a smartass or anything, just that as albino says - there are rather a lot :) plus others under construction which can often be fairly easy when you approach them logically. Plenty of tower cranes about too which are good fun

Trust my guy! Always wanted to do crane climb but have no groups to do it as I’m not confident or going to be caught!!

Went crane spotting in Manchester at about 3am the other day and they are all heavily guarded.
Didn’t even think of attempting them
Same with the ones in the LVP.
+ all cranes nowadays have anti climb cages

Most do have cages and hatches yeah, but you'll find a lot of the time they've been left unlocked or it's possible to squeeze around them somehow !

Not worth squeezing around in my opinion, I mean if it’s possible I’d definitely do it but climbing around it is some bizzare work although it may be possible.
Worst thing is lattice climbing with sweaty hands though I’ll say that

Certainly fair to say that not every one is worth it - the taller the better!

I do cranes and stuff almost exclusively on my own. I can't speak for Manchester but where I'm from, despite there being a decently high level of security at all sites, actual security themselves are slow to notice and slow to react. In probably 15 attempts I've had a security response in 2 of them. First one was just a loudspeaker saying they're calling the police as I was climbing back out over the fence and the other was just a couple of guys walking about that clearly didn't want to actually encounter me so it was an easy walk to the exit. Your mileage may vary though, obviously.

I remember being nervous waiting for a good opportunity to hop the fence on my first solo mission, but at a certain point you've just got to either go for it or go home. If you do decide to go for it, good luck and be careful!

Proper mate, never done a solo. Always duo, never trio or squad though.
Where are you from?

Nice man, solo is pretty cool imo, total silence in the site etc. Obviously it is less safe but I don't really do lattice climbing so not worried about that. I'm primarily based in and around Bristol.

I don’t lattice yet either, I haven’t climbed a thing in the past 7 months asides from sneaking into a hotel (Adelphi Liverpool) but I wouldn’t count that.
I’ll be back soon, hopefully around June July August
