New Member - Dutchie in the UK

Hi Guys,

My name is Leo. Currently 25 years of age and living in the Northern part (Friesland) of The Netherlands. I've done a few urbex trips to Germany, mostly Belgium and recently a week-long trip in Slovakia. With my peak interest being vast and imposing industrial structures.

Now I am visiting the UK soon. And I've been researching the reports in here for quite some hours now. But a lot of locations seem to be destroyed and redeveloped. I am planning on staying in the south-east part of England. But could travel a bit more up north if there is a 'cluster' of good spots.

As my list is quite small atm (5-10 spots). I would like to ask for a hand from someone local to add a few good spots to my list. I like big industrial structures, like steel factories and power plants. As I like to imagine how they would've once worked. I hope someone can point me in the right direction

There's plenty to see in South East England, put in a particular town or city into the search button on the top right of the forum and see what's there.

Yes I've done plenty. Ah I thought the focus was more on UK explorations. I shall see what I can cook up with some old pictures.

To be honest I've already spent more than 15 hours manual researching. And most of it has been repurposed from what I can find. I just lack the local knowledge. I've even spent a few hours on AI prompts that check all 28days forum entries against public records to see if locations are still standing.
