Visit
I haven't posted in quite a while, i recently got back into exploring so i started to re-visit some places i'd been to.This place is pretty local to me, its been in quite a few of my photography projects, it seems to be more of a derp because of people in the local area finding out about it, it recently had quite a bad fire which wasn't surprising seeing as the place was filled with acetate, flammable ink and drums of some kind of plastic based ethanol.
History
Couldn't find much online, so i had to go by what i could find lying around, it seems to be a factory for printing graphics onto food packaging and then distributing it off, i found a few fragments of letters lying around which all seemed to end around the late 1980's so it suggests that was when it closed. the structure of the buildings wasn't very interesting as parts had collapsed and the rest was covered in graffiti but there were quite a few interesting machines, parts and what had been left by the employees at the time like the inks and the chemicals that were used.Storage area for some of the packaging material.
you can kind of see some of the original tiling and the third room where the roof had collapsed.
Some of the chemicals used.
I did have a load more photos from previous visits but i cant find em, i remeber they didnt look very good though.
