Raven's Well water conduit was built in the 14th century by the monks of Austin Friars to transport water to the Religious House they were building in the Temple parish.
I'd found an online map of the layout of the conduit which gave me a rough idea where to loom for the entrance; it still took me a fair few minutes to find it.
The entrance point is definitely nice and cozy; nothing to get too excited about though. It's definitely a very nice little explore along the conduit; a nice chilled out look around.
I'm hoping/planning to get up Bristol way again sometime soonish and explore more underground stuff.
