Report - St Josephs Upholland October 2022

I’ve been down to St Joes 3 times and only managed to get in on my second attempt. First attempt there was no visible access so I drove back down a week later and we found access so the following week I went back down with my son again and the access had been covered again and we were escorted of by security which to be honest he was a sound guy. I will be going back down here December or January time to try again as the place is unbelievable to explore so if any one knows of anymore places near by to add to the list as I’ll be making a weekend out of the trip that would be much appreciated. So some history of the building…. St Joesephs college is a former Roman Catholic seminary and boarding school in upholland . The foundation of the original building was laid in April 1880 and the college opened in 1883. It closed in 1992 and was sold in 1999 and has been derelict since. We explored inside for 4 hours and 30 minutes and there was still some places that we didn’t find. Have some great videos of in here but here’s my photos hope you enjoy

yeah they were half fkd by time I went but I thought the same they r proper fkd now

Very jealous. We've still not managed to get in. But sad to see how bad its getting.

I don't understand it though. Must be miles of double/triple fencing, dozens of cameras, and two guards every time we've gone - all that money on security just to watch it crumble?!?! They're massively protective of something they're surely just waiting to bulldoze? ‍

I’ve had a couple of wasted trips down and will probably have some more haha makes it even better when you finally get in tho. Hopefully manage to get back in after Christmas

There’s 2 security guards on 24/7 bit of advice don’t park anywhere near it or security will start walking about the premises last 2 times I’ve been down and they’ve known what car/van I’ve been in both time. They are on top of fixing any broken fence posts went down boxin day then 2 days later and the fence had been fixed. Good luck
