I'm like you really, always asumsed this was empty and full of scaffolding. I drive past the place weekly, and have never bothered with it for the same reasons! Might have to pop my head in and have a look after all..

Yea go for it mate. It popped up yesterday that it may be getting restored, but I highly doubt it

Anyone know what's going on with this place now? I passed it back in March but didn't have an opportunity to go in, need to go to Swindon later this week so might give it a look. When I was there in March there was building stuff outside but didn't really look very active.

Had a look whilst passing in August, was okay, stagehouse was the highlight for me. Best bet is just have a look if you're going to be there anyway...

Lovely report, I remember this building from the 80s when I lived in Swindon. We let our heritage go into decay at our peril. Some lovely features in the fab photos. Thanks for the report.
