After my initial trip to West Park last month, I was keen to go back as soon as possible to see all the parts that I'd missed. The plan was to go with my new SLR camera, but an almighty lens ordering mishap put paid to that (if anyone want to buy a Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 lens for an SA mount, let me know), and so the pleb camera was deployed again.
It was another enjoyable trip, I think I've seen the vast majority of the parts that are linked by the corridors. If anyone has any suggestions of places that aren't within the corridor sections, it would be good to hear them (apart from the mortuary, which I found last time). I'll be going back to have another roam for sure, so would be good to have some objectives in place. Not that roaming for roaming's sake isn't also good.
Onwards!
There was a set of first floor rooms that had been freshly decorated (some kind of paint therapy session perhaps).
This room had electricity, someone had wired it into the mains. The lights were on, as was this record deck.
There was pretty bad fire damage on this floor. I have no idea how recent the fire was.
Once again, it was a good explore. It's an amazing place, and I'm sure there is still much more to see of it for me. I'll be back.
