Wolsingham Train Depot is a railway facility situated in Wolsingham, County Durham, England. Once part of an extensive rail network up on the moors that was used for transporting mineral ores. Although not abandoned, and privately owned by weardale railway, it definitely has an abandoned feel.

Hidden inside this dated building are trains ranging from the 1960s-1980s. This site is very interactive and captivating, with the chance to climb inside and explore the carriages that look as if they could still be in use. With exposed engines, work benches, tools, crane, traffic lights, signage and much more.

The locals in this area are quite passionate about protecting this space, and keeping an eye on trespassers...don't draw too much attention. no trouble otherwise.

Nice place, be carefully when you go from the shed to the hard. Nice pile of asbestos roofing.
When I went, from the inside of the yard I walked to the front gate and let myself out due to the terrible lock on the gate 🤣🤣🤣
