I dunno about you lot but i often carry a film camera around with me and take the odd snap now and again. Trouble is i normaly post a report way before i develop the film and never have a chance to show them.

Im sure more of you are in the same boat so lets see them! everyone knows film is way better!

Love the high royds photo. Looks like it could of been taken years ago when the hospital was in use

Bought a lomo fisheye not long ago. Haven't used it much, and need to get into the habit of using free develop and printing at college

not too keen on holga's, tried one but the price of dev 120 film @ a shop was crazy, so would save 120film for something decent :)
You could prob get a full B&W dev set up with englarger, tanks, some dubious chemicals for £50 :thumb

some film shots of mine.... most of the good ones are in B&W and lost somewhere in university

cherry knowle thru the lense of a £5 zenit :)

cherry again

got loads more, somewhere  Thats the problem with film, got to make a consicous effort to scan, upload film shots to computer, kinda forget most of the time.

Finally found a decent independant film shop who scan at crazy resolutions for peanuts...

'T3H Birdz'
Clipstone south headstock + Birds, £10 canon EOS + tokina 19-35 + Portra 160nc no post editing to speak of.

as above, maybe not a great composition, but I like the filthyness of the steelwork & the tones.

'Gone Shopping'
Derwent Pencil Factory, 1930's deco in concrete, Keswick, details same as above, film might have been the VC version or Fuji Reala, really can't remember :crazy

All below are same setup as above but in a mixture of Reala & Portra NC:popcorn

Decided to have a dabble with a 'proper camera' (as my compact is very auto point and shoot) Here's a couple from me, both taken on a Zenit 12 XP, 50mm, Fujicolor superia 200:

I like the flair and colours in this one. And this is why I like, no, love film! One shot, Ap priority, did this, bugger all editing, it just came out like that, in digi, it took a 5shot HDR and it was still flat and lifeless :(

I have a Zenit122, unfortunately the curtains are screwed and the repair man said 3 hours work - '100 quid mate, its not worth it'. Would quite like to get it fixed though as it was my Grandad's and has probably not taken more that 100 pictures - its mint.

I've got a Spotmatic now which has a less klunky feel to it and takes decent pictures.

If anybody knows anywhere that does hi res scans / developing in London I'd be interested to find out. SnappySnaps are not impressing me at the moment.
