Hi everyone!

Eventhough I have been reading the site for a relatively long time, could not find time to post something myself. So, after trying to sort all my photos, decided to share some almost one year old pics with you. This post will consist of pictures from 3 different trips, do not want to make it three different reports though, as there are a lot of reports from these sites already, that are of course gorgeous and the Upper Heyford is, as I would say, exeptional, I do not want you to get bored, so I will devide this into two parts. There are going to be quite a few pictures, may be too much, but I love the places, and it turns out that people responsible for sites (U. H. in particular), are getting really annoyed with explorers, and are ready to do whatever to stop the trespassing.

Ok, here we are in Bicester. One of the oldest airfields in England (the full history is on wiki is you want, and it actually is quite interesting, and in other reports, so I will not overload the post with letters- lets take a look at some shots instead).

It was easy to find the location- the airfield is used by gliders.

The site seems to be looked after- grass cut at least. Plus the weather was really good. Plus, I have as usual explored alone as my buddy has had something more important to do- it was a really 'fresh' experience.:)

There are a lot of small brick buildings on site, as well as a couple of big and empty hangars. Interesting one was a double-walled (if there is such a word, I am pretty shure that there is not, but lets keep it simple :)) bomb storage.

Inside other buildings it was boring and peaceful, but it was possible to see some nice lifts and take some shots on the way between buildings.

And a funny wall.

Now it is the time to leave the boring Bicester and move to the amazing ex-US airfield, Upper Heyford. The weather was not so good this time, but it has enchased the atmosphere. Unlike Bicester, Upper Heyford is guarded, and the security inspects the site on the car on regular basis (of course we did not know it). Plus police do train there- it is a mini - city, like a model, in perfect condition! Americans have left 20 years ago, but it seems like may be 3 or 4. It is a small town with its own school, hospital, hotel, shopping centre and sport fields. Even fueling station with prices in US dollars. Of course, a lot of exciting signs!

After a while (the site is huge) we have found a teleport and now we are inside.

Continued in Part Two... :)
