Baitings Reservoir is a large water supply reservoir operated by Yorkshire Water close to Ripponden in the Yorkshire Pennines. It lies in the valley of the River Ryburn and is the higher of two reservoirs built to supply Wakefield with water and was completed in 1956
Visited with Stepping Lightly,Userscott and Frainy we made our way to the reservoir to look at setting i Zip line up off the top of the dam wall and found ourselves on an epic little explore.
All the pics are taken from behind the dam wall where all these pasageways run apart from the dam wall pic.
Looking up from the bottom of the dam wall and Wow that is a neck breaker to look up at.
Here is Mr lover Lover, Scott fell in love at 1st sight with this headless, toples model.
Making progress through the passageways we came across this plaq.
Here are some real heavy duty valves and they are huge.
This is some sort of funghi dripping, Stepping lightly wanted to put this ornament in his back pocket, not quite sure why.
