This is nothing special, just a quick dash up one of the local tower cranes but having not posted anything from Ireland up here yet I thought I may as well share something recent from it's capital city.
This tower crane is situated in the middle of the "One Ballsbridge" development in Dublin. This development was supposed to originally contain a 37 storey sky scraper however 127 complaints were registered during the planning process and this has since been scaled back to only 9 stories! The Dublin city council are heavily against the building of any towers which are above the cities current skyline which explains why there are no buildings over 60 metres high in Dublin.
Due to this approach this is surprisingly the tallest tower crane in Dublin (and most likely Ireland) at the moment. It's not too tall, standing at only 14 stories but with the lack of high stuff around here I can't be too picky. Nonetheless it made for a good night which is what matters.
