Report - Bennenden Hospital Nr Cranbrook - 23/03/08

After two failed attempts at the Rochester Police Station, first we heard an almighty bellow from some guy telling us to keep away from the cars!! And the other we had a yocal decide he was going to go and get his crow bar to help us get in! He really thought we wanted to nick stuff, and left mother and baby to go help us! HMMMMM!!

We decided to head onto the last place of the day, Bennenden Hospital, we had no idea of access and awaited eagerly to arrive. With 3 cars in tandem we had a lot of randomness from Urbex over the radio waves, we arrived.

The place looks amazing, not huge, but MINT! So after a bit of mooching around, Someone07 found a way in and after a bit of fun even I was in lol.

This was very cool and nerve wracking at the same time. We had no idea of PIRS or anything, so we were treading on (Easter) egg shells the whole visit. Looking at Snappels report I think we did the other half to him as we did not see the plaque, and access was too tricky into the other half of the building! I shall let the pics do the talking, but I just wanted to say….

Thanks ever so much to Moddy for all his help organising the trip, your local knowledge was just the best! And to everyone for coming and making it a laugh – I really had a great time and you were all fab LOL.

I think everyone is right that while it was interesting, and a less in never giving up, the inside was a bit bare. I only have two pictures to add...
