Visited today with Silverhatch and Fire-Fly.:thumb:thumb

Verdict: Open/trashed

Situated by the side of a road Billingshurst ROC Post is barely hidden in a shallow mound.
It was closed in '68 but only sold in 2003  And somewhen it was fitted with a much larger, heavier, very beefy hatch. Subbrit says it was previously welded and then locked. But, It is now unlocked but very stiff so It took 3 of us and some umming and arring to open the hatch to find nothing much internally has changed since Subbrit visited, Only the 3 beds remain.. And alot of rubble (presumerably from the 2 ventilation shafts which are both broken off) There is also no top on the FSM pipe.

We didn't venture past the entrance shaft because it stinks.. and the pile of rubble is high in the shaft so you have to duck to see in and thus all internal photos were taken with flash.:(

Oh well.. Photos!

All in all, it was a good end to the day after we had just spent 2 hours solid walking because the GPS co-orinates were wrong so the unit took us round in circles :gay lol
