My first report on here, visited here with Silverstealth who kindly offered to show a noob around, I beleive the site started to run down its operations in 2005 and is being slowly but surely stripped out ready for major redevelopment.
Anyhows the buildings we managed to get in to were well and truly f****d but we managed to find the mortuary which looks to have had at one time 2 slabs, parts of the fridges remain, and lots of interssting things still there. The chapel of rest was good with the wooden box thing that they would have placed the coffins on still there. the operating theatres have been stripped out and look to have been used more recently for the estates, they were full of tools that looked to have been where they did/do all the boarding for the windows etc. A ncie surprise was the lecture theatre which was hidden away in occupational therapy.
We had a bit of a hairy moment when we had to hide in a store room and even though a torch was shone in whoever it was didnt spot us
Heres some pics
thanks again to Silverstealth
