Visited with Bubblehead and Tunnellover joined us later.
Something I've always wanted to see is the radio telescope on top of this buildingwhich seems to have got stuck in its most extreme position and eventually been decommissioned. Work is taking place on the building it's on, so access is now possible, although I think it's time is almost at an end.
Out side is a skip full of these, isn't this radio absorbent foam, like those rooms at Aquila???
Anyway on to another target, Muirhead Tower was designed by the University's own students in the '60's. It had some problems but it's listed and fortunately it's getting a complete refurb. Best view of Birmingham ever.
