Björksättra manor was built 1859-1869 and the tower was added 1892. It was owned by the family Henriksson and the last inhabitant lived there until 1995 and the manor has since been abandoned, since he had no relatives. It has now been given to the county to be renovated and will be renovated even if the use of it is not yet clear. The last owned was an excentric man, he only lived in a small room and kitchen upstairs, and scribbled notes all over the walls about what was going on in his mind.
