I'm not too familiar with the history of this place as mines and military stuff is my area really, however speed's report has a brilliant bit of self researched history if you're interested.

This place is absolutely massive so capturing it all was impossible, especially with me having left my extra film in the car. Apologies for the lack of colour pics, the lab I usually send my film to has gone bust so I'm stuck with home developing until I find a new one, I'm sure clebby or polo will put a few of theirs down below.

How easy to get in? I fancy a visit back to the site after working there as an apprentice and then later as a spark. The corridor was one of the longest under one roof in UK when it was built in '48 at 1/4 of a mile long but in about '99 the dividing walls were put up. Anyone fancy a guided tour?
