This one was open but I got soaked trudging up a mud saturated hill to get to it. Post cover is held down with a rock and sump is full and is starting to flood the post. Post is damp but interesting as the bracket and leads for the original Post radio are still in place. This radio was in use in the '60's through to the '80's when it was replaced by the more well known (and much smaller) Burndept unit. There's no evidence that a Burndept unit was used in this post so either they carried on using the old style radio or at some point before the upgrade the Post stopped been used as a Master Post...

Bracket for original Post radio. The radio would have been hung upside down from the bracket with the connections made at the bottom (front face).
