Number 5 of 5 sites visited on our monster 200 mile road trip.
We were on our way back when I spotted an ROC post on the hill. King Mongoose protested there wouldn’t be much to see, but I thought it would be rude not to stop, so jumped down quickly to escape the sub-arctic winds. Yet another ROC post that has become considerably more trashed in the last few years; previous photos shows it in much better condition. Looks like there might have been a fire here, and there is a typical random assortment of junk inside.
The post opened in 1959, and closed in 1991. It has previously been locked, but is now open.
Not a lot, but it is what it is.
