Not much information out there on this bunker. It was constructed in the late 1980's under orders from the government. They required every local council had somewhere safe to operate from in the event of nuclear war.
Now it is used for storage of important items from Cambridge university. Air filtration, water supplies and power generation are still maintained.
Visit.
The bunker is built below the council building next to the car park. Under those bushes to the right.
