Visit here today, cheers to Oldboy for directions.

Well, another country manor that became a hospital. Like Lennox castle and Stallington Hall the evidence is everywhere, from the skirting boards to the ceilings. The staircase, the usual spilt effort seemed too cramped to show off all it's features, but it was beautiful.

But here is the bad news, the place is dropping apart at the seams... The roofing slates, which must be worth a fortune because they are huge, have been stolen from the back of the roof. Water has come in and ruined most of the plaster. It's heartbreaking to think that white mush you walk through was once ornate plasterwork. I doubt any of it will be saved now.

Another room had the typical bay window, and ceiling to match. The cellars were extensive but no tripod so I have not bored you with flash photos of that!!

There had been a fireplace with hand painted oriental themed tiles... this had been stolen and in the process most of them had broken.
