This was the first stop on our mini road trip, in attendance was Myself, Magpie, H1971, MrDystopia and Renrutt
As per most of my reports they've been done many times with better history than I could ever do. Rather than just copy and paste someone elses I'll leave it out and get on with the pics
It seems I struggle to photograph anything which has half decent light and can only seemingly photograph in darkness but hey ho off we go
A crap attempty at being 'arty'
On the way over there I kept telling myself I would over come my fear of heights nd climb the headstocks however once we got to the bottom the wind was going bat shit crazy and I lost my bottle a bit, made it to the first wheel which was moving due to the wind and decided I would return another time to conquer my fear once and for all( props to renrutt for helping me passed all the barbed wire and for accomanying me because I wouldn't have gone up at all on my own)
Only 1 picture from half way up as I wanted to keep hold of the railing (probably perfectly safe but I'd bottled it by this point)
