Different title to seperate it from Zero81's excellent report, but yes this is Bailey Mill.......again
The idea was to visit Fletcher's and take in this place on the way as Zero81's report made it look rather appealing.
However i spent more time here than expected so didn't make it to Fletcher's yet.
I have tried to make it a little different but it's not that easy when he's got all the good bits already
Bailey mill in Delph was built in 3 stages, starting in 1863 with later additions in 1865 and 1871 respectivelyand was owned by the Mallalieu family who were in the textile business strating withcotton and later moving onto wool, depite abandoning works at bailey mill in 1999 they moved just up the road to valley mill where they remain in business to this day.
On with some pictures......
