Report - Deepdene - Underground WW2 Southern Railway Comms HQ - March 2014

Hey - I cycled up by Box Hill from London yesterday and figured I'd give this place a look, didn't take me as long as I thought it would to find the Fire Escape and entry wasn't too hard. The site is a a bunker of sorts built into a cave complex, it was gutted by fire some time ago and the main entrances are bricked up.

Didn't have all my lighting equipment, I'm not too happy with the photos but I've taken away some good experience of photographing with no light.

I think this site is quite well documented here so this is likely nothing too interesting, but figure I'd share.

Only recently I guess as was sealed not long after we last went which was a good while ago now
